I am pleased confirm that Andrew Keirl Opticians will be open from Monday June 22nd 2020, with social distancing measures and strict hygiene procedures in place. Our new opening hours will be Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. You may find us closed for cleaning and ventilation between 1.00 and 2.00 pm
When you visit us, you will notice that we have made some changes to ensure everyone’s safety. You are be asked to attend wearing a face mask and sanitise your hands on entering the practice, and throughout your visit. If possible please attend unaccompanied. Our normally high standard of cleanliness will be raised even further, with full and thorough cleaning of all equipment used, surfaces touched and frames tried on after each patient’s visit. The main door will be kept locked so that social distancing guidelines can be adhered to at all times. Although things may seem to have changed, we will still have the same friendly and professional approach to your eye care so please don’t be worried. All of these changes are in place to ensure that the practice is a safe place for all of our patients and our staff.
We will have to prioritise booking appointments for those who are having problems. If you feel that your prescription has changed, you’ve lost or damaged your glasses or sunglasses, you’ve been experiencing problems with your eyes, or you’ve been having visual difficulties whilst adapting to new ways of doing things e.g. working from home, then please contact us.
Have a good weekend and stay safe!
